How an audit works

We read up to 20 pages of the live public website, the ones a customer is most likely to use: home, contact, services, booking, pricing and about.
Check
26 checks look for what a customer comes for. Each ends found, not found or not determined, and every finding carries the words we read and a link to the page.
Score and compare
Results are scored in code on a fixed 100-point scale, then compared with other businesses in the same industry audited in the last 90 days.
We do not contact the business and we do not check anything against licensing boards or registries. Every result is what the crawl found on the public website, on the date shown. How the audit works explains the rest.
