Corrections and removals
Every result comes from an automated crawl, and a crawl can misread a website. If a result is wrong, or you would rather your website were not audited, email info@howtheybook.com.
Requesting a correction
For example, a check marked not found when the page shows it, or a quote taken from the wrong page. Tell us:
- the address of the profile on this site,
- the check you think is wrong,
- the page on your website that shows it, and what it shows.
Not found means our crawl did not detect something, not that the business lacks it. A correction is checked against the website itself, and the next audit records the result.
Requesting a removal
Email us from an address at your website's domain and name the website. How crawling works explains what the crawl reads.
